The story of a young girl during the grey period of Midwest America magically transported to the colorful Land of Oz. In this adaptation Oz was represented as the Asian countries as mime, puppetry, colorful costumes, and movement helped create this world.

In this adaptation of several Suess classics audiences get a glimpse at Horton the Elephant during his adventures in discovering the Who's and hatching an egg. Other characters featured included Dr. Seuss himself, Mr. Brown, Red Fish Blue Fish, Mayzie the Bird, and the Wickersham Brothers.

June – GEAR UP – Mississippi funded program instructing 9 th grade students in theatre arts. Anson Norwood, Elliott Gilbert, and Adam Dietrich led students through two-week workshops detailing all aspects of production culminating in performance.

This adult evening of food and laughter picks up where the sidewalk ends. The evening includes 10 Adult vignettes, live music by Shel Silverstein, and Italian food provided by Italianni's in Bedford.

2005
January – Bluestreets (*New Work) written by Stephen Taylor, Michael Johnson, and Adam Justin Dietrich Directed by Adam Justin Dietrich: Location – Rose Marine Theatre
March – World Theatre Day Parade – The Butterfly Connection built five giant puppets for this seed project produced by the Undermain Theatre in Dallas. The parade was highly successful and continues to see growth.
June – GEAR UP – Mississippi funded program instructing 10 th grade students in playwriting for the theatre arts. Anson Norwood, Elliott Gilbert, and Adam Dietrich led students through two-week workshops detailing all aspects of writing for the stage and production culminating in a new works festival.
October – Blue streets – Blue streets traveled to Meridian, Mississippi contracted by the Emma McCain Theatre's Arts and Letters Series. TBC provided transportation, lodging, and a per diem for all 19 participating artists: mostly semi-professional, amateur, and student artists. This tour initiates TBC's desire to provide nationally touring productions.
2006
January - Happy - Written and

Happy explores two humanistic creatures living in a mythical forest. When confronted
by a daunting democratic society do these two Happies change their way of life
for better or for worse? What does it mean to be happy and free? This new work
explores innovative movement techniques, pageantry puppetry, and multi-media
presentations. Happy is a funky journey of feelings and images.
February - Rice: The songs of Damien Rice -
Adapted by Elliott Gilbert and Joshua Cox
A new work in progress exploring the world of young aspiring independent musician
Damien Rice. The world premiere of Rice: The songs of Damien Rice follows the
lives of two childhood sweethearts as they date, go to college, marry, have
children, and deal with death and old age.
March – World Theatre Day Parade – The Butterfly Connection brought 11 Giant monster masks and an enormous crawling baby to the 2006 parade. The crowds were even larger than last year and we anticipate continued growth in 2007.
April/May - Paloma - Written by Rob Bosquez
and directed by Adam Dietrich
Paloma explores a small town in Texas where a murder has taken place. Through
two different time periods, 1920 and 1925, a mystery is unraveling about the
murderer and the murdered. Paloma is an invigorating mystery that keeps you
guessing until the very end.
November - Charlie's Album - Written
and directed by Anson F. Norwood
Richard Pettles finds a photo album on an urban sidewalk with the name Charlie
printed on the cover. Whose is it? Where has it been, and what do these photos
represent? A look into some one's life moments, happy, sad or even disturbingly
confusing. The owner must be found, it must be dear to them. What will the
search reveal, who is Charlie? What can Richard do? A play about love and struggle,
pain and purpose.
December – The Willie Lynch Letters – Written by David Conard and Adam Justin Dietrich
