Amy Wollin - PresidentAmy Wollin received her BA in Communications with a minor in Business from the University of Texas at Arlington. She served as a corporate manager for a national theme park company for several years increasing revenue and implementing new products nationwide. She traveled to set up new locations, conducted systematic on-site evaluations, ensured effective implementation of contractual agreements, resource budget utilization, and adherence to quality standards and operational procedures. In 2000, Amy's company moved her to St. Louis, MO. Along with being a businesswoman, Mrs. Wollin is a personal fitness trainer & an aerobics instructor.
During her spare time Amy taught aerobics classes for various fitness centers which included the YMCA, Washington University, JCC (Jewish Community Center) & St. Luke's Hospital. She also taught seniors aerobics at St. Marks church, which is an outreach program for the YMCA. Amy really enjoyed her work but needed something that would allow time for herself & still be able to teach aerobics. She stayed in St. Louis, MO and worked for Executive Beechcraft until the end of 2003. At that time she decided to return to Texas where all her family resided. Amy now is happily married and works full time as a personal trainer & aerobics instructor for the City Club in downtown Fort Worth. She also continues to teach aerobics for the YMCA five nights a week. Amy has been on the Board of Directors for The Butterfly Connection since January 2007. She has been involved & has supported The Butterfly Connection since its creation. "Supporting the development of community through creative expression is very important. TBC does just that & much, much more!" Keith Wollin

Peace!
I was born in Oak Cliff to wonderful parents in the summer of 1984. I completed my middle & high school studies in The Piney Woods, also known as East Texas. Thereafter, I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Dallas in December 2006. I will complete my Master of Education with a specialization in Adult Education & Training through the University of Phoenix in spring 2009.
The importance of achieving a solid education is more vital now than ever before. My goal is to equip communities with skill-sets and knowledge, to improve their environment and impact future generations. My paternal grandmother is instrumental in the woman I am today. Her sound wisdom and guidance have steered me to this point in my life, and for that I am eternally grateful. In my spare time, I enjoy: reading, cooking vegetarian meals, and yoga. David Miller
David is a financial adviser at Lone Star Financial Partners and has been serving his clients for the past four years in that capacity. After growing up in Minnesota he moved to Dallas to receive an education at a number of institutions, culminating in a history degree from SMU. David's acceptance of membership on the board of directors for The Butterfly Connection is evidence of their vision.
It is due to TBC that David Jeremiah got his chance to spread his wings. David "M" has been a big brother and role model for David "J" for nearly a decade, so when TBC took the time and the chance on "the black Day-Lewis", his love was secured. His service to TBC is a dedicated "thank you" for their awareness, development, and opportunity-making for local acting talent. |
